June 2017

Teaching sixth-grade science was so much fun this year.  Studying different aspects of the world God created for us showed us His design, His creativity, and His great power.   From the first quarter’s lessons on volcanoes and earthquakes through the final chapter on genetics, we learned so much that points us to Him.   Putting our knowledge to work with science fair projects, creating our own Punnett squares, recognizing some of the marvelous constellations that God spoke into existence, investigating chemical elements, producing our own small versions of body and surface waves to better understand how earthquakes work – we really did learn quite a bit this year!

Have a wonderful summer.  Enjoy the world around you.  Observe the plants, the animals, and the stars God created.  Rest, relax, refuel!
