The last Friday of every month the school gives students the opportunity to display their creative side. We have School Color Day, Sports Day, International Day, Christmas Colors Day, Career Day, Pajama Day, Colors of the Rainbow Day, Dress to Impress Day, and Patriotic Day to name a few.
A/B Honor Roll Lunch
After our three report cards come out, the Middle and High School students that make all A’s and B’s are treated to a lunch out on the town. We typically go to Gainesville Promenade and pick a restaurant.
King's Dominion Trip
In May we have our annual King's Dominion Trip for our Middle and High School students. A little reward for a year of hard work.
Every year our music department puts on a fantastic Elementary School Christmas musical/play for parents to enjoy and students to shine.
Christmas Class Parties
The last day before our Christmas break the entire school will have Christmas parties. The Middle and High School students get a lunch off campus and the other grades play games, watch movies, and enjoy lots of candy canes.
One of PCA’s yearly traditions is Pi Day in March. Students are challenged to memorize as many numbers of Pi as possible with a yummy reward for the winner.
For our upper level students we like for them to experience some good ol’ fashion fun for their accomplishments at PCA like going on a ski trip to Massanutten.
Every other year Dr. Shin provides Middle and High School students an opportunity to go on an international mission’s trip to South Korea where they provide assistance to a children’s shelter, serve food, and servie at an after-school program.
The best time of all is our Award Ceremony on the last day of school followed by a school wide picnic where we can cherish our memories with our friends and get ready for summer fun.
